Beliau mendapatkan gelar\u00a0 MPH dari UC Berkeley dan gelar MPA dari Harvard Kennedy School. Beliau bekerja sebagai asisten legislatif bidang kesehatan di senat AS, sebagai Medical Director di Harlem\u2019s Public Health Office, dan sebagai Clinical Adviser di IRC dan SAVE. Dr. Niescierenko juga memberikan layanan medis bagi anak serta membangun program klinis di hina, Bolivia, Lesotho, Guatemala, Syria dan Iraq. Pada tahun 2011, beliau membantu pemerintah Liberia mendirikan satu satunya program pelatihan residen dokter anak\u00a0 dan terus mempertahankan program ini dengan kunjungan berkala serta melalui berbagai jejaring di institusi akademis di Amerika. Beliau merupakan lulusan fakultas kedokteran Unoversity Vanderbilt dan mendapatkan gelar MPH dari Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Dr Fleming mengabdikan karir profesionalmya untuk penghapusan kesenjangan layanan kesehatan. Beliau fokus\u00a0 memberikan layanan Obgyn pada tempat tempat yang kekurangan dokter.\u00a0 Dr Fleming juga merupakan sukarelawan di\u00a0 Rumah Sakit Our lady of Lourdes di Mutomo, Kenya.
